The PPG Equal Length Z Midpipe for the BMW M2/M3/M4 G-series was developed to take sound, exhaust flow, and performance to a new level. The Z-pipe design, combined with precisely tuned equal-length piping, harmonizes the exhaust flow while simultaneously allowing it to flow much more freely.

Compared to the standard exhaust system, the midpipe replaces the original OPFs (Otto Particulate Filters) and catalytic converters, thus functioning as an OPF and catalytic converter replacement pipe. This significantly reduces exhaust backpressure, allowing the engine to breathe more freely. The result: smoother revving, noticeably more direct throttle response, and a significantly more engaging driving experience.

The Equal Length Design ensures even exhaust flow from both cylinder banks. This results in a clearer, cleaner, and distinctly exotic sound – less muffled, but more precise and motorsport-like. The typical Z-pipe geometry further enhances this effect, producing an aggressive yet high-quality sound.

Made from high-quality 304 (T304) stainless steel with a material thickness of 1.5 mm, the midpipe impresses with maximum durability, high corrosion resistance, and extreme temperature resistance – even under the harshest conditions. The precise manufacturing also ensures a perfect fit and long-lasting performance.

Technical note:

Using exhaust components without standard catalytic converters or gasoline particulate filters can trigger error messages in the engine control unit. An activated engine warning light is possible.

For trouble-free operation, an adjustment of the engine software is usually required. This should only be carried out by qualified specialist workshops.
