Maximum throughput. Raw sound. Motorsport DNA.
The PPG single midpipe for the BMW M3/M4 F-series was developed for uncompromising performance and maximum sound. The continuous single design concentrates and freely directs the exhaust flow, allowing the S55 twin-turbo engine to breathe much more freely.
As a catalytic converter replacement pipe, the midpipe replaces the standard catalytic converters and significantly reduces exhaust backpressure. The result: freer revving, more direct throttle response, and an intense, motorsport-like driving experience.
The sound is powerful, deep, and extremely present. The bundled exhaust system ensures a particularly rich sound with high volume under load and clear turbo acoustics – perfect for drivers seeking an uncompromising performance sound.
Made from high-grade 304 (T304) stainless steel with a material thickness of 1.5 mm, the midpipe impresses with its high corrosion resistance, extreme durability, and maximum temperature resistance. The robust wall thickness provides additional stability under high thermal stress and guarantees long-lasting performance, even with high-performance setups.
For perfect installation, a specially adapted underbody brace is also included. This provides additional clearance in the area of the exhaust system and ensures a stress-free, precise fit even with large pipe diameters.
Compatible with these BMW F8X models with S55 engine:
The bundled exhaust system creates a particularly prominent and voluminous sound with high volume and clear turbo acoustics. An intense, emotionally charged soundscape that perfectly matches the performance of the BMW F8X M models.
Using exhaust components without standard catalytic converters can trigger error messages in the engine control unit. An activated engine warning light is possible.
For trouble-free operation, an adjustment of the engine software is usually required. This should only be carried out by qualified specialist workshops.
